Yes, you may do as little or as much Cafe Theologica as you like. However, to complete the Certificate in Theology and get ACT recognition, you need to complete six subjects.

No, you can adapt your enrolment to your needs and do as many subjects per semester as you like. If you choose to purchase the material for all six subjects at once, you can still stagger your ACT enrolment over multiple semesters.

Yes, you can purchase all six subjects as a set for $240. This saves you $120, or $20 per subject.

If you have a special circumstance and believe you will need an extension, please contact us. We will take all extension requests on a case-by-case basis, and may require documentation (medical certificates etc).

Yes, late assignments will lose 3% per day. No assignments will be accepted more than 3 weeks after the due date unless they have been approved for an extension.

Yes, even if you get 100% on the first assignment, you need at least a conceded pass (45%) to pass the subject overall.

You may re-take a subject up to three times. However, assignments may not contain all or part of an essay that has previously been submitted.

The ACT recognises your work on the certificate. If you complete the full Certificate in Theology (all 6 subjects) and enrol in a Diploma-level theology course, you will receive credit for the equivalent of two non-designated units. Please contact us for more information.

 

The course is formally called the Certificate in Theology (or Cert Th), which is a course accredited with the Australian College of Theology (ACT).
